Peer Review

Krunal M Shah & Co. has successfully obtained the Final Peer Review Report for the two year period of 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 which has been issued on 15th December 2014 India vide Certificate No. 007630 and valid up to 15th December 2019 without any qualifications and adverse comments. Specifically, the Peer Reviewer has opined that the quality control for the attestation services of the firm has been designed so as to carry out professional attestation service assignments in a manner that ensures compliance with technical standard laid down by the Institute and maintenance of the quality of attestation service work performed.
 
The Krunal M Shah & Co is subjected to quality check by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in the form of Peer Review undertaken as per its guidelines issued from time to time.
 
These guidelines require the Member firms to comply with:
  • Technical standards issued by ICAI.
  • Ensure quality of reporting.
  • Have adequate office systems and procedures in place.
  • Ensure adequate training programs for staff.
 
The primary objective of ICAI to conduct Peer Review of CA firms (Practice Units) is for ensuring as well as improving the quality of attestation services being rendered by the members in Practice thereby enhancing the confidence of various stakeholders.
 
This concept of Peer Review has got wide acceptance and recognition from regulators – SEBI, C&AG. The regulators have made Peer Review status mandatory for CA firms to be eligible to carry out audits of listed entities, large Public Sector undertakings etc.
 
The Peer Review Certificate issued by the Council of ICAI signifies our adhering to the systems and compliance of laid down processes.
